Columbus, Ohio — The Ohio Republican Party today announced the launch of a new Affiliates page on OhioGOP.org, a dedicated space designed to recognize and elevate the allied organizations that play a critical role in strengthening the Republican movement across the state.
The first organization featured on the new page is the Ohio Young Republicans (OYRs), marking a milestone in the Party’s ongoing partnership with one of its most effective and enduring grassroots organizations. Founded in 1935, the Ohio Young Republicans are celebrating their 91st anniversary and continue to serve as a cornerstone in recruiting, training, and electing the next generation of Republican leaders.
“The Ohio Young Republicans have been instrumental in building the Republican Party at every level,” said Ohio Republican Party Chairman Alex Triantafilou. “From grassroots organizing to campaign leadership, their impact is felt across Ohio. This new Affiliates page reflects our commitment to recognizing and strengthening partnerships that help drive conservative victories statewide.”
The Affiliates page, located under the Initiatives section of OhioGOP.org, provides a centralized platform to highlight partner organizations through dedicated profiles that include organizational overviews, leadership recognition, and direct links to affiliate websites. The page is designed to grow over time as additional organizations are featured.
Earlier this year, the Ohio Republican Party State Central Committee formally adopted a resolution recognizing the Ohio Young Republicans for their critical role in advancing the Party’s mission and celebrating their 90 years of service. The resolution highlights the organization’s extensive grassroots efforts, leadership development, and continued service to the Party long after members age out of the organization.
“We’re honored to be the first affiliate recognized by the ORP,” OYR Chairman Cody Pettit said. “This cements the strong, united front Republicans have heading into the midterms. We’re ready to recruit, train, and elect Republican leaders intent on delivering a safer and more affordable Ohio for young people across the state.”
With more than 40 local chapters across the state and a legacy of producing elected officials, campaign staff, and party leaders, the Ohio Young Republicans exemplify the type of organization the Affiliates page is intended to spotlight.
The Ohio Republican Party plans to continue expanding the Affiliates page to include additional allied organizations that contribute to voter engagement, leadership development, and grassroots activism throughout Ohio.
