ONE BIG REPUBLICAN TENT

The Ohio Young Republicans (OYRs) are the most effective young professional political organization in the state. Founded in 1935, the OYRs are critical to the growth of the Republican Party. Our focus as OYRs is reaching out to registered Republicans, 18 to 40 years of age, and providing them with better political knowledge and understanding of the issues of the day. Our goal is to recruit, train and elect the emerging generation of young professionals.

With over 40 chapters and 1K members across the state, our members hold office on the local, state and federal level. While the OYRs are best known for our political activism and service to our communities, OYR events also provide a great opportunity for interaction amongst members. This interaction allows for the exchange of ideas, networking, and friendships that will last a lifetime. The OYRs provide different opportunities for different people. No matter what your long-term goals may be, the YRs can serve as the building blocks for a successful future.
