COLUMBUS, OHIO — America turns 250 this year, and no state has more to celebrate than Ohio. The Ohio Republican Party is marking the occasion with the launch of #Ohio250 — a statewide content program designed to tell Ohio’s story during America’s landmark anniversary year.
Ohio’s fingerprints are all over American history. Eight presidents called this state home. The Wright Brothers took flight here. Neil Armstrong — an Ohioan — was the first human being to walk on the moon. And through every generation, Ohio’s workers, farmers, and veterans have built and defended the greatest nation on earth. The #Ohio250 program gives Republicans across the state a unified, year-long way to shout that story from the rooftops.
The program kicks off with a bold, patriotic graphics package built for Facebook, Instagram, and X — anchored to the Ohio outline and Ohio GOP branding. The package includes six themes:
- Mother of Presidents
- First in Flight
- First to the Moon
- Built America
- God Bless Ohio
- God Bless America
The ask is simple: pick your favorite graphic, post it before the Fourth of July, and keep sharing through the summer. Tag the Ohio Republican Party and use #Ohio250 on every post. The more voices carrying the same message, the louder Ohio’s presence in America’s anniversary year.
This is Ohio’s moment. Let’s make sure the whole country hears it.
