COLUMBUS, OHIO — Thirty-two years in Washington turned Sherrod Brown into a liar unfit for public office. That’s the message of Jon Husted‘s newest television ad, airing across Ohio today.
The 30-second spot, titled “Change,” goes right at Brown’s hypocrisy. While Brown sat on the Epstein files for three decades in the Senate, Jon Husted voted to release them in the only recorded Senate vote on the issue.
Meanwhile, Brown has taken more than $100,000 from at least a dozen Epstein associates, including disgraced former Harvard president Larry Summers, entertainment executive Casey Wasserman, and prominent attorney Brad Karp. He has refused to give the money back. He’s using it to fund his desperate comeback campaign.
“Sherrod Brown owes Ohioans answers. Why didn’t he release the Epstein files during his 32 years in Washington? Why won’t he donate the money he received from Epstein associates to charity? Why did he turn his back on the victims? It’s time for Sherrod Brown to look in the mirror and embrace his own hypocrisy.” — Jon Husted
While Brown sat on the Epstein files, he was busy voting to raise taxes on Ohio families and to leave the southern border wide open to drugs and crime. Instead of facing that record, he’s spending millions on dishonest ads and running from his 52 years in elected office.
“Sherrod Brown is literally using Epstein money to run TV ads about Epstein money. You can’t make this stuff up.” — Amy Natoce, Communications Director, Husted for Senate
The ad is part of a three-week, $1.5 million statewide buy. Watch it, share it, and help retire Sherrod Brown for good. Back Jon Husted for U.S. Senate at secure.winred.com.
