COLUMBUS, OHIO — The numbers are in, and Ohioans are making themselves clear. In a new NYT/Siena poll of Ohio Likely Voters, Senator Jon Husted is leading Sherrod Brown heading into the fall — 50% to 47%, conducted June 15 to June 28, 2026.
Ohioans see the choice clearly. On one side, a career Washington politician who spent 32 years in D.C. On the other, an Ohio guy who has spent his life fighting for our state, from the Ohio House to Lieutenant Governor to the United States Senate.
But a lead is not a win. Sherrod Brown will spend every dollar he can raise to hold on to this seat, and the national Democrats will pour in every dollar they can move. To close this out, we need every Ohio Republican in this fight.
