    An outdoor gallery in the historic district featuring 22 historical photographs from the Worthington Historical Society archive that picture Worthington throughout its almost 250 year existence.The exhibition runs May through October as part of Ohio's America 250 celebrations through a partnership between the Worthington Historical Society and Experience Worthington.

The artist presents their perspective on significant historical figures and moments, inviting visitors to reflect on their own selections.A dedicated Lincoln section includes a large 3-D art piece that is based upon the Lincoln Memorial.

    On display in the Dining Room of the Stan Hywet Manor House, The Families That Built Akron explores the stories of the people whose lives, work, and traditions helped shape Akron. Created in honor of America's 250th anniversary and Akron's bicentennial, the exhibit traces Akron's evolution from canal town to industrial powerhouse through the families who built homes, businesses, communities, and lasting legacies here. From early settlers to recent arrivals, this special exhibition invites visitors to reflect on the people who shaped the city and the ways each of us helps shape our communities today.

  • Founders Park Grand Opening

    In honor of America's 250th birthday, the Village of West Milton is opening a new park. The celebration features special guests from the Sons of the American Revolution sharing founding stories, followed by a visit to Founder's Cemetery to honor early settlers. A family-friendly outdoor movie night featuring "Hocus Pocus" concludes the evening in the Municipal Park.Food vendors Clark's Pizza and Stillwater Kettle Corn will operate on-site.     A community cycling event celebrating America's 250th anniversary utilizing the Miami Valley Trail Network. Participants choose from four routes (10, 25, 40, or 64 miles) designed for various skill levels.Features include the American Passport Challenge where riders collect tokens at historical landmarks, QR code scanning for educational content about American history, and a Heritage Hub Festival with vendors, food trucks, and a Young Explorer Zone for children.Theme: Pedal for the Past, Ride for the Future — celebrating 250 years of the American Spirit.Event proceeds benefit United Way of the Greater Dayton Area.
