The calendar has officially flipped. It’s 2026, and this is the moment for Republicans to lock in, focus up, and earn the trust of voters in all 88 counties across Ohio. The work ahead matters, and so does the leadership that will carry us forward.

Vivek Ramaswamy has been leading that charge. He closed out 2025 in a way few candidates ever have, by visiting all 88 counties and connecting directly with Ohio voters face to face. Now, he’s bringing that momentum to Northeast Ohio, where he’ll take the stage for a Special Announcement about the future of his race for Governor. Let me briefly highlight what Vivek has already accomplished. Visiting all 88 counties wasn’t symbolic, it was real engagement. Many Ohioans followed those stops through social media, but I had the privilege of joining him at several of them and witnessing the energy firsthand. Crowd after crowd, county after county, events are selling out. I hear it constantly from County Chairs, State Central Committee members, volunteers, and voters alike. Vivek’s energy is unmatched, and it’s being felt statewide.

That momentum is also reflected in the broad support he’s earned from Ohio’s workforce. Vivek has secured endorsements from key labor organizations, including the Ohio Laborers’ District Council, Carpenters Local Union No. 2, International Union of Operating Engineers Local 18, ACT Ohio, the Ohio Conference of Teamsters, the Ohio State Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters, the Central Midwest Regional Council of Carpenters, the Cleveland Building & Construction Trades Council, the Northwest Ohio Building & Construction Trades Council, and Millwrights Pile Drivers Local Union No. 1090. These endorsements don’t happen without cause.

Vivek is already working alongside Ohio’s workers to advance policies that will make a meaningful difference. Lower taxes. Lower energy bills. A return to excellence in education. He understands what Ohio families and workers need, and he’s building solutions that move our state forward. Simply put, Vivek is our guy.

And the contrast could not be clearer. His Democrat opponent, Amy Acton, is best known for locking down our state. She presided over school shutdowns that hurt our kids, policies that stunted growth, and decisions that forced small businesses to close their doors. She represents shutdowns and an agenda aligned with the radical left, from boys competing in girls sports to radical classroom teachings and policies that expand a welfare state prone to fraud. We’re not buying what she’s selling.
