Fellow Republicans,
What happened last week was heartbreaking and deeply wrong. The loss of Charlie Kirk to political violence has no place in a country like ours. America was built on the right to speak freely and disagree peacefully — not on fear or hatred.
In the aftermath, I was proud to see Ohio Republicans come together. On Sunday, we gathered in Dublin for a candlelight vigil to honor Charlie, pray for his family, and show that our movement stands united in moments of both strength and sorrow.
Sadly, the tragedy didn’t end there. Some chose to use this moment to launch cruel attacks online, targeting Charlie’s grieving family with mockery and hate. That kind of response is disgraceful, and it has no place in civil society.
We have a responsibility to carry on Charlie’s legacy. That means refusing to be silenced and continuing to speak with purpose. Ohio Republicans will keep moving forward — clear in our convictions and unwavering in our belief that truth and decency still matter.
In Remembrance, We Stand Firm.
God Bless,
Alex M. Triantafilou
Chairman
